Current and past employers:
Attitude Studio (3 years): check out these amazing pictures ! Attitude is a 3D animation studio which has produced many successful animated series such as Skyland (broadcast on CITV) or Galactik Football (Jetix). It started out making videogames cinematics (and continues to do so).
Attitude Studio’s masterpiece is its first B&W feature film called Renaissance which has received a warm welcome in the world of European 3D animations productions. I worked there as a PR officer, I was in charge of maintaining the Intranet and Internet websites. I updated the content and managed the design (did a little CSS too). I also wrote press material, most of the time in French but some in English as well.
RFO website: RFO stands for Réseau France Outremer. It is the biggest French network which deals with overseas territories. In each overseas territory, RFO has its own radio and TV station. I worked on the RFO headquarters in Paris for the website. I had to write articles about environmental issues (protecting sea turtles, for example) and cultural aspects. (French creole cinema).
Amina Magazine: I still work for this monthly magazine. Amina promotes Black women from Africa, the West Indies, North America and Europe as well. The magazine and its website have told the great stories of thousands of worthy-praised women for 3O years. Should they be president, cooker, nurse or business woman, there is something to say about these inspiring ladies.
Journal de l’Île de la Réunion: le Journal de l’Ile de la Réunion or JIR is a daily newspaper located in Reunion Island (Indian Ocean). I learnt a lot in my time there because of being close to your audience. I also have been taught how to write efficiently because of the deadlines required for a daily newspaper.
Les Echos du Capricorne radio: les Echos du Capricorne is a non-commercial radio about Madagascar, broadcast on Paris and its suburbs as well as on the internet. I’ve done press reviews for them, columns and interviews too. I also produced 2-hour musical programs.
ARCC: ARCC stands for Association Réunionnaise Culture et Communication. It organizes cultural events for people interested in la Réunion island and the Indian ocean area. Whilst working with them, I designed leaflets with Indesign, I managed the website, and edit audio interviews so that they are broadcast.
French Bible Society: I helped them with their PR schedule and I also edited their website.
